Using a proven framework
(payment plan available)
When am I able to apply for 501c3 status?
You will be prepared to apply for 501c3 status in 6 - 11 weeks. Preparing your organization to apply is a process. Getting the foundational documents ready will take time. If you stay on track throughout the program you will have everything you need to apply by the 11th week of the 12-week program.
When will I get status?
The IRS website indicates it takes 2 - 12 months to process applications for status. There are several instances when applicants receive notification within 2 months.
What is happening during the course?
Cheronda will guide you through the complex process of nonprofit concept to establishing a functioning 501c3 nonprofit organization.
You will have a dedicated online learning space featuring resources, materials, and training, and recordings. You will have access over 4 months. You will cover: board training, goal setting, program design & funding, revenue (ie grants, donors, generating income, benefactors, etc.), community resources, networking, and engagement.
The information is tailored to your specific organization. For example, if you are working with teen moms in Houston, TX:
When you end the program the Nonprofit Organization will have a 12-month action plan, foundational documents, resources, tools, and knowledge to operate and sustain a new nonprofit organization.
Will there be other fees?
Yes. The cost for filing 501c3 status is $275 paid directly to the IRS. You need to make an account associated with your EIN/SSN. For security reasons, you are guided through the process of setting up this account and paying the fee. This account is the same account you will use for annual filing.
There is a cost to register the organization within a state. Each state will have a filing fee to register the organization which ranges from $10 - $200 depending on the state.
What happens if I do not receive status?
Cheronda has a 100% success rate; all clients have received 501c3 status the first application attempt. She guarantees the service. If you follow all instructions provided by Cheronda and receive denial of 501c3 status, Cheronda will refile the status for you with the IRS.
